Emergency Response Planning Course
Course details:
Industrial fires are a critical threat to people and property, and an estimated 45 per cent of businesses never reopen after a minor fire.
This emergency response planning course goes through the necessary requirements of an emergency response programme, emphasising the important areas to be assessed regularly to reduce the risk of a fire starting in your business, and preparing for emergencies in the event of a fire.
Course aim:
- conduct a survey to identify gaps in your existing emergency plan
- be able to set up and maintain your own emergency response plan
- know the importance of management support when setting up and running an emergency response plan
- be able to identify common fire hazards and put controls in place to reduce the likelihood of fire
- be able to deal with emergency situations when they happen.
