Risk Assessor Training Course

Course details:
This risk assessor training course aims to give you the tools to perform risk assessments in the workplace, and to comply with section 19 of the 2005 Act, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment.

Risk assessments are one of the key tools to ensure that employees are safe in the workplace. Part of the employer's duty of care is that the employer has identified hazards and assessed risks likely to result in accidents and ill health.

Course aim:

• know how to reduce risk
• know how to decide which risk control to use
• be able to carry out risk assessments in the work place.

Who is this course aimed at?:
Any person who wishes to become a risk assessor in the workplace.

Delegate assessment:
Practical assessment during the day and theoretical assessment at end of course.

Certification:
Certificate to each delegate valid for three years.
