Driver CPC Periodic Training
The Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) was first introduced across the EU in 2008 for professional bus drivers and 2009 for professional truck drivers.
Its objective was to set and maintain high standards of road safety, health and safety and driving among professional drivers of buses and trucks.
If you were already a professional driver at the time the Certificate was introduced you are entitled to what are known as acquired rights. To maintain your CPC you are obliged to complete 35 hours of periodic training over the next five years. Training is on a one-day-per-year basis at a minimum of 7 hours each day.
At MobileTraining.ie we provide regular CPC training days. Please see our Facebook page or call us on 058 21753 for details of our upcoming courses.
